Nokjhok.com covers India’s latest and viral stories across politics, sport, entertainment, defence, technology and money. Our stories are written and edited by the Nokjhok News Desk. This page explains how we work.
Our standards
- Accuracy first: we check facts against official statements, court and government documents, and reports from established news organisations before publishing.
- Clear sourcing: we name and link our sources wherever possible. When we build on another outlet’s reporting, we credit it.
- News and opinion are separate: the “Nokjhok Take” section at the end of a story is our analysis or opinion and is marked as such.
- Fairness: on disputed issues we try to present the main sides and avoid personal attacks.
- Viral claims: we do not present unverified social media posts as fact. If something is unconfirmed, we say so.
Satire and humour
Stories in our LoL Zone (Memes, Internet Reactions, Viral and NokJhok Originals) may use humour and satire. These posts carry a visible “Satire & Humour” label so readers can tell them apart from news reports.
Corrections
If we get something wrong, we fix it quickly and openly. Significant corrections are noted at the end of the article with the date of the change. To report an error, email hello@nokjhok.com with the article link and the correction, and we will review it within 48 hours.
Independence and advertising
Advertisers have no say in our editorial decisions. Sponsored or partner content is always labelled.
Images and AI use
We use licensed, official, or clearly credited images. Where images are illustrative or created with AI tools, we do not present them as real photographs of events.
