Movie Review : Golmaal - Fun Unlimited (Update July 20, 2006)

There is a new movie in Bollywood called Golmaal - it seems to have been released with minimum publicity (or maybe, I havent heard about it). But, I did hear from song from Golmaal, the title song that is, and i must say it had me tapping my feet. However the rest of the songs were not that good. suikerziekte

Anyways, neither the media, and nor the bloggers have been in much hurry to review this bollywood movie; while I see only two notable reviews on media side, not a single quality review of Golmaal has come by in blogosphere. Golmaal has a mammoth starcast (Whats with these huge scar cast these days)  including Ajay Devgan, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Sharman Joshi and the ever dependable Paresh Rawal.

Ajay Devgan? Comedy? Nah, I dont think so - he hasnt done enough comedies in bollywood

Arshad Warsi? He is very good at it.

Tusshar Kapoor? He wont need to try that hard - people laugh at him anyways.

Sharman Joshi? Eeew!

Rating: Between B and B plus. What we get after two-and-a-half hours is a movie that is way different from all the other comedies of recent times. From start to end, the movie is packed with gags that are not loud, witty one-liners and clean jokes. – Fenderbender

The movie had good acting performances by everyone, Tushar Kapoor is also good for a change, may be coz he was ating dumb!! Good Comedy — Shwetanshu
